CLEANING & BLENDING:
The first step is to clean the leaves and beans and separate all dirt, stones, dust and defective beans and leaves.
The blending process is carried out for obtaining different blends as per the market trends.
ROASTING & GRINDING:
Roasting the material develops the aroma and flavor due to chemical and physical reactions that occur while process of roasting.
The process should be carried out at proper temperature to evoke perfect aroma, color and flavor in the resulted product.
The extractors are meant for the extraction of grounded coffee in a pressurized vessel through a continuous process using hot water.
The process is influenced with the factors, which includes:
- Type of beans/leaves.
- Degree of roast.
- Type of grind.
- Ratio of water.
- Mode of heat input.
The extracted solution is passed through a centrifugal clarifier to separate the insoluble solids.
AROMA RECOVERY SYSTEM:
In the next step the clarified liquid is passed through the aroma recovery plant, where the volatile aroma is deprived from the coffee before entering the evaporator.
